Summer Successes
The hot summer provided for a year of wonderful abundances in the garden. From the heirloom tomatoes that continue to ripen daily, to the red okra, to the passion flower vines and the patty pan squashes, apples and melons. I continue to love growing food for my home and family, and also for others. Just because we are in Zone 3A doesn't mean we can't have variety beyond beans and carrots.
This weekend may be salsa making time. I will try to do pictures of that process.
