Garden Party Hummus in a Hurry!

I promised another post with photos from the Garden Party but it has been another kooky week with a sick boy, crazy rain storms and more.

Hummus in a Hurry is a great dip or meal in itself with crackers or Veg

1 c.
an chickpeas
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp cumin
smidge of salt

Put all the ingredients in a deep blender jar or bowl and use an immersion blender to mix until a smooth consistency.  Better to make it a couple of hours ahead to let the flavours blend.

Keeps well for several days, serve with crackers, vegetables or as a spread on a tortilla or pita
