I am packing up pots and thinking about what to harvest for produce and flowers for Opening Day of the Farmer's Market at Pine Ridge Hollow on Saturday. For those who don't know, we are known as the Friendly Farmer's Market at Pine Ridge Hollow off of Garven Road, next to Bird's Hill Park from 9-1 pm on Saturdays from now to September. We are excited to go back and see how the market looks with it's new improvements, and Gabriel one year older. Then we are off to the lake for a day or so, get a break from the heat I hope. This house is about 100 degrees right now and at least 70 per cent humidity. The garden looks great, lots of rhubarb, lilies and delphinium etc for vases. Should be great photo ops.
We have great Cinnamon Buns, meat, plants, jewellery, pottery, candles, vegetables , fruit , jams and jellies and who knows what else. Come out and see us, bring your bug spray and repellent.
